Donald Trump is winning; Kamala Harris’ concession speech; US Ambassador Kevin Rudd defends Wong; Wall Street rises thanks to Trump’s victory

Maricopa County, Arizona election officials said there are more than 700,000 ballots left to process.

It is still too early to declare a swing state and the countdown is expected to last another day.

Arizona figures are likely to be finalized tomorrow (AEDT).

As it stands, Trump leads by about 122,000 votes.

Arizona was expected to be a critical battleground state that could have been decisive in the US election race, but Trump’s victories in Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin meant he reached the White House.

Trump won Arizona in 2016, but returned to Biden in 2020 when he won by a narrow margin of 0.3 percentage points.

Trump also has a 63,000-vote lead in Nevada with 87 percent of the vote counted, meaning he could win all seven of the battleground states.
