Billboard named Beyonce the biggest pop star of the 21st century

Billboard, the music chart site, named Beyoncé the biggest pop star of the 21st century announced on Tuesday as part of the current series.
“Beyoncé tops our editorial staff-selected list based on her full 25 years of impact, influence, evolution,” Billboard’s Andrew Unterberger wrote.
In its analysis, the publication wrote that Beyoncé’s place at the top of their list stems from the record-breaking Grammy-winning performer and creator “whose dedication to innovation, evolution and all-around excellence has made her the benchmark against which all other pop stars of this century have long been measured” in the past 25 years.

Beyoncé is the artist who has won the most Grammys, with a record 32 wins, and — after earning 11 more nods for her 2024 album “Cowboy Carter” — is expected to win more trophies in January.

He has nine number one songs and 24 top 10 songs on the Hot 100.
Eight of her albums have topped the Billboard 200, starting with her debut solo album, “Dangerously In Love” in 2003. After previously dominating the airwaves as part of the girl group Destiny’s Child, 11 of Beyoncé’s solo albums have charted in the top 10 on Billboard.
Since August, Billboard has ranked its staff’s picks for the 25 best pop artists of the past 25 years. The publication’s picks are artists they believe have most defined pop stardom and “exemplified pop greatness” since the turn of the millennium.

Last week it was Taylor Swift announced as Billboard’s second choice, while Rihanna won third place.
Adele, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Drake round out the top 10.
On the 25th place is Katy Perry, and other pop artists include Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, One Direction, Miley Cyrus, Eminem, Usher and others.
