The Henley Passport Index counts the number of countries a passport can travel to visa-free, based on data from the International Air Transport Association, and uses this to determine the most powerful countries in the world.
In its new quarterly report, London-based global citizenship and residency consultancy Henley and Partners revealed that the Singaporean passport was the most powerful passport in the world by mid-2024.
Reaching an all-time high in visa-free travel, citizens of the city-state now have visa-free access to 195 of the 227 travel destinations around the world.
