Even food isn’t really something you should pack in your suitcase.

A flight attendant previously said that this is also one of the reasons why she chooses hard luggage.

Megan Homme, a U.S. airline employee, said having a soft suitcase may seem convenient, but it’s not ideal if someone else’s luggage gets spilled or cracked in the hold.

“You never know what’s in someone else’s bag, or what’s under the plane and what might leak into your bag,” she shared on TikTok.

The advice comes after another flight attendant also shared the same there is a right and a wrong way to use your luggage tag.

“I don’t know why more people don’t do this,” Ally said.

“Always, always, always turn the information on your baggage card backwards. I can’t tell you how many people I see every day, with their information out there for everyone to see.”
