Working anywhere is becoming increasingly popular (even hotels are jumping on the hush trip trend). Research shows that Workcations, where travelers combine work and leisure time at their destination to extend their vacation, are booming alongside the rise of hybrid work.
International Workplace Group found that almost three-quarters (74 percent) of employees consider a ‘work anywhere policy’ an important factor when considering a new job, with 77 percent of Australian hybrid workers saying they would consider starting work by 2024 if their company supported it.
The research also focused on identifying the top ‘workcation’ cities around the world. Each location received a score out of 10 in the areas of climate, culture, housing, transport, food and drink, happiness, broadband speed, sustainability and the availability of flexible workplaces.
These are the best cities for a ‘working holiday’ in our opinion IWGs Work from anywhere Barometer.
