An employee of the hotel and another person were also accused. No one has been named.

The late singer had alcohol, cocaine and a prescription antidepressant in his body before his death, the Argentine State Criminal and Prison Prosecutor’s Office also announced.

Toxicology results indicated that Payne “may have fallen into a state of semi- or complete unconsciousness,” it said.

The prosecution also said that medical examinations confirmed that the singer’s injuries were “compatible with those caused by a fall from a height.”
