A woman from the United Kingdom has been convicted of murdering a 24-year-old man after luring him to his death from a friend’s house.
Sacad Ali was playing video games at his friend’s house in East Sussex, England when he received a call from an unknown number at 4am on March 9.
25-year-old Rebecca Moore was on the other end of the line and convinced Ali to leave his wife’s house to meet her in Ponderosa Park.

However, it was a ruse.
When he arrived, he was met by Barney Griffin, 18, and Jack Douglas, 17, who ambushed Ali, stabbing him to death with machetes.
South Yorkshire Police said Ali “begged” the couple to stop their “relentless and brutal” attack before fleeing the scene.
He died of his injuries in the park where he was left despite the efforts of the ambulance and the police.
“Once our officers arrived at Ponderosa Park, they immediately secured a large scene to preserve any possible evidence before beginning to gather witness statements from as many people as possible who were in the area at the time,” said Chief Inspector Ben said to Wood.
“They provided physical descriptions of the attackers, including details of the clothing they were wearing, which matched the clothing we seized from Griffin’s home after his arrest.”
Griffin and Douglas surrendered to police on March 12 as pressure mounted.

On the same day, an officer approached Moore in Burngreave, Sheffield, after receiving a tip that a suspect had been spotted in the area.
The policeman caught the encounter on camera, and can be heard asking the 25-year-old for her name.
Moore lied to the officer, telling him her name was “Lauren Smith,” but was convinced the woman was Rebecca Moore.
He asked the dispatcher to send him a picture of the suspect and confirmed it was her, after she refused to give him identification.
She was arrested, and the trio was later convicted of murder.

“The two teenagers killed Sacad in a barbaric manner and Moore also killed him by setting him up for a meeting and luring him to a place where he would be brutally attacked,” Wodd said.
“Instead of admitting her guilt, Moore then forced Sacad’s loved ones to relive the events of the day he died, forcing them to endure a trial in court, after which she was found guilty of murder.”
All three were sentenced on November 28 (local time).
Griffin will serve 16 years and Douglas will serve 15 years.
Moore received a life sentence for murder, with a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
