Meena has been very supportive of her aunt, even appearing at the Democratic convention in August.
Harris lost all seven swing states to Trump, ensuring the former Republican president’s return to the White House.
“The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, it is not what we fought for, it is not what we voted for,” she said a day after her defeat was confirmed.
“But hear me when I say, hear me when I say that the light of the American promise will always burn.
“As long as we never give up. And as long as we keep fighting.
“Sometimes the fight takes. That doesn’t mean we won’t win. It’s important to never give up.”
