By caravan parks to luxury accommodation and quirky boutique hotelsthe best places to stay N.S.W have been revealed.
The winners of the 2024 NSW Tourism Awards were announced at a gala event at The Star Sydney on Thursday.
The winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze awards for their commitment to tourism excellence, with a host of regional destinations taking the cake.
Mt Hay Retreat in Berry was awarded gold for the best 5-star luxury accommodation in the state, while Oriana Retro Hotel & Resort in Orange won the title for the best 4-4.5 star luxury accommodation.
Kalinya Estate in Bargo was also recognized in the 5-star category with a silver award.
For those looking for a more cost-effective holiday option, Holiday Haven Lake Conjola was crowned the best Caravan & Holiday Park in NSW.
Tathra Beach Eco Camp received a silver award in the same category, while Tasman Holiday Parks Racecourse Beach in Bawley Point received bronze.
The awards also recognized other accommodation styles, with hosted stays, self-catering options and unique properties all recognized for their offering.
Black Sheep Inn in Borenore was crowned best hosted accommodation, with Cedars Mount View, Hunter Valley, winning the Self-catering category.
In terms of Unique Accommodation, there were three properties that were called up.
Sierra Escape in Mudgee won gold, Wilga Station in Bathurst won silver and Myall River Camp in Hawks Nest won bronze.
Category winners from the NSW Tourism Awards will now represent the state at the Australian Tourism Awards.
